Emergency Physicians of Tidewater (EPT) is an independent physician group (PLC) contracted by the Sentara Healthcare System to provide acute care hospital services. The EPT administrative office does not have access to patient records or billing information, however, we have provided some additional guidance below:
For questions about your bill:
When you receive care from EPT in the Emergency Department, you will receive a bill from Sentara (the “facility” charge) AND from EPT (the “professional” charge).
