Job Requirements:
- Physician Assistants: Completion of a physician assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) and successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) exam.
- Nurse Practitioners: Completion of a master’s/post-master’s or doctorate in an accredited nursing program with an emphasis in Emergency Medicine accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). Current certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or successfully passed the certification exam of the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other certifying organizations approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners: Currently licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in the Commonwealth of Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure
